店長さん's Note: Here's what we think: Don't ask a vegan for alt-meat recommendations. (Don't @ us) We're no pros, but just like anybody else, we want something that's tasty and didn't feel too foreign. The texture had to be right! First impressions were that they grilled like meat (much to our surprise) and it smelled amazing (they come conveniently marinated). It charred in the right areas too. We did a blind tasting with people who'd never consider them (alt-meats) and they didn't flinch nor ask about the 'meats' until we revealed it at the end of the meal! They tasted really good without any additional seasoning, so they were just right if you wanted to pair them with your favourite sauces

"NEXT Burger 2.0" is a meat (plant-based) patty made by exquisitely combining the proteins of peas and soybeans. The umami is finished in a patty that makes you feel a little "Japanese". It's healthy and delicious. You now have a burger that doesn't compromise on either!

  • Vegan-friendly. No animal ingredient or by-products used. No palm oil or white sugar using beef bone charcoal is used. 
  • No alcohol, gelatin, or any by-products of any animal. 
  • How To Cook: Remove the frozen patties from the bag, oil a frying pan and bake until slightly browned. As a guide, use medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side (even if you bake it frozen).

Hailing from Tokyo, Next Meats is a food-tech venture company that specialises in the research and development of Japanese-style alternative meat products. Its journey of product development began in 2017, and the company was officially established in 2020. Its portfolio of products includes plant-based burger patties, gyudon and yakiniku meats.
