[EXCLUSIVE IMPORT] Awa Okada Wasanbon Sugar for Wagashi Making / 阿波和三盆糖
Wasanbon is a kind of traditional Japanese sugar that has a history of over 200 years. It is only produced in Kagawa and Tokushima Prefectures’ and is the ‘upper class’ of sugar in Japan.
The uniqueness of wasanbon is in its fine taste which has more than just sweetness. Its special flavor and taste are quite rare in the world, the reasons why it has continued to be produced even in a climate that is not necessarily suited for producing sugar cane.
